Mark Bartlett is the Branch Owner of the TWFG Insurance Services Fremont office, as well as the Northern California Field manager for TWFG overseeing 30 additional offices. For Mark, the insurance business is a family business going back to the 60’s. Mark was the big hold out, opening his own auto upholstery business which became the largest auto upholstery business in the San Francisco bay area servicing local and national accounts as well as the private sector. However after many years in the upholstery business, the family insurance business finally called him home. Mark joined the insurance business in 1997 as a captive agent for Allstate Insurance. The skills that Mark had gained as a successful business owner in the upholstery industry served him well in his transfer to the insurance world, and Mark grew the family business to the top 2% of all Allstate agencies in the country.
Despite his success with the family business, Mark felt that he could better service his clients needs with access to more than one company. To accomplish this, Mark left Allstate in 2008 to strike out on his own, becoming an independent agent. Mark started the Fremont TWFG branch from scratch, and following suit with his other experiences, it has now grown to #8 of all TWFG branches in the country and #1 in California. In the Fremont office, Mark is proud to be able to offer all lines of insurance from personal lines including home, auto, umbrella, recreational toys, health and life to business and commercial lines including professional liability and workman’s comp. TWFG in Fremont represents over 300 insurance carriers, which Mark thinks is the best way to ensure that clients have a choice allowing Mark and his staff to ability to offer the best solutions for our clients needs. Mark’s specialty is the commercial side of the insurance industry. He has attained the CLCS (commercial lines coverage specialist) designation and is working on his CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) designation. In fact, all of the staff at TWFG are licensed agents each specializing in their field of expertise. With 4 full time in office staff and 5 additional licensed producers, the TWFG Fremont office is well equipped to assist customers with any and every need.Mark enjoys this business because he feels that he is able to help clients protect their assets with the right coverage at the most affordable premium. When he isn’t at the office, Mark enjoys almost anything that will get him outside and active. His hobbies include camping with family, fishing, boating, hiking, and gardening. Mark strives to maintain a healthy lifestyle, putting that same hardworking attitude into his health as he does his work. Mark is also actively involved in his local church and is an avid fan of muscle cars.
